Parent Education Program (PEP)
Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program – Parents of children between birth and thirty-four and one half months of age should contact Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Programto request an evaluation if they have concerns about their child’s development at 240-777-3997 or complete the online referral at referral.mditp.org.
Child Find – Child Find provides free developmental screenings for children from three years of age until kindergarten. It is also the single point of entry for families moving into Montgomery County whose preschool-aged child has been previously identified with a disability.
Non-resident families with developmental concerns about their child who does NOT have an IEP and attends a preschool or childcare center located in Montgomery County may contact Child Find.
Early Stages – Do you have questions or concerns about how your child is learning? Early Stages can help! Early Stages is a DC Public Schools evaluation center for children between the ages of 2 years 8 months and 5 years 10 months. We help identify any delays that your child may have, and we arrange therapy services to address them. All of our services are completely FREE and available to all DC residents or children that attend a school in DC.
