Fr. Matthew leads the religious life of the preschool through weekly chapels, classroom visits, and pastoral support to students, teachers, and parents. Matthew is also the Senior Associate Rector at All Saints Church, with the preschool being a specific area of responsibility.
Matthew has worked in education for much of his career, having served as a teacher, school chaplain, camp counselor, Sunday School coordinator, and an associate at the Center for the Ministry of Teaching at Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS).
He received a BA from Trinity College (CT), followed by an MDiv at Virginia Theological Seminary. In 2020 he completed a Doctorate in Christian Spirituality at The Catholic University of America, where his dissertation focused on virtue and the life of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Matthew and his wife Danielle live in Bethesda with their two daughters, and their dog Clover.
All Saints Preschool is thankful and blessed to offer a Chapel program as one of its “Specials.”
